Just Being Miley

Sweet Miley, my four month old golden retriever- yellow lab mix puppy, is going to the vet again today. 

Let me explain something. She goes to the vet EVERY three weeks. For some reason, I believe that the vet is taking advantage of a newly married couple that has never owned a dog. She gets another vaccination every three weeks.. which means we pay A LOT every three weeks. Granted, she was a free puppy. But woah, no puppy cost this much at four months. She has been on 5 different antibiotics during this time period too. 

So today we are going back to have our ear infection looked at. Her yeast infection in her ear. Crazy. She's the sweetest puppy. She loves the water. So if that means that she comes into the kitchen from our walks and dumps her WHOLE bowl full of water onto the floor and lays in it, how can I not just laugh at her, let her enjoy it then finally clean it up?

She's been the perfect companion when Taylor is traveling. She doesn't have much to do with me when he's home. My parents have fallen in love with her. Weekends at their house are all about her. She won't know what to do when my sister or I have children. Because right now, weekends end like this... 

My family makes fun of me and the fact that I do treat her like my child right now. Since I don't have a job, my day basically revolves around her. I don't know what I'll do without being around her for 10 days. 

And yes, I did name her after Miley Cyrus, okay?
