life, now

Taylor and I have had 3 normal weeks at home. Sleeping in until noon everyday (which I know isn't actually normal) then working in the yard, swimming with the puppy, cooking out or just being lazy on the couch. It's been amazing!

My husband is a lighting designer for a band called Switchfoot. He travels a lot, so for him to be home from 3 weeks straight is a rare thing. But those 3 weeks ended this morning. He's off to work at Bonnaroo for the week then a few Switchfoot shows and some things for Lifeway. What in the world will I do for these couple of weeks until I see him again? Oh yeah, it's wedding season. I have a two weddings in the next two weeks, including bridesmaids luncheons and rehearsal dinners.  Then off to North Carolina for 10 days to see Taylor and stay with Kelli and Reid. 

In the mean time, if you need me... I'll be writing thank you notes... lots of thank you notes.
