Miley's Summer Cut

for over a month now, we knew that it was time to get miley's haircut and prepare for the summer heat. last summer, she was still so little and was inside too much to really suffer in the heat. finally on monday, i broke down and called the vet to check on getting her in to get groomed this week. turned out to be an amazing deal. i dropped her off at 7:30 on my way to work and she stayed in "doggie day care" all day until they were ready to groom her. i arrived at 5:15 to pick her up and she came parading around the corner.

she's still trying to figure out what's going on but i know that she feels so much better. i had a little break down about all of her hair being short but then realized that my backseat was not being covered in dog hair on the way home either.

we're enjoying summer to the fullest. heat and all.

Weekend in Atlanta

We spent the weekend in Atlanta with two of our best friends, Nick and Sarah, this weekend. We went to Stone Mountain on Friday night to see the laser light show. Saturday was spent at Dave & Buster's before heading to Turner Field for the Braves game.

Miley enjoyed our return when she realized that we brought her a prize from our winning at Dave & Buster's. She loves the Blow Pop.

Nick and Sarah are about to close on their first house so it looks like we'll be making a trip back soon to help them move!

Cruise

We took probably 5 pictures the entire cruise. We actually just left the camera in the room and just enjoyed being together as much as possible. It was such a great getaway. We laid by the pool, enjoyed some drinks, ate amazing food and the quality time that we were given.

We snorkeled, went swimming and enjoyed the beach while in Cozumel, Mexico. We are so thankful that we had this vacation before Taylor's summer of traveling kicked off. We are already looking into another cruise for sometime next year.
