progress

Here is the progress on my bishop dress:



I had class last night to get started on this. Woah. This is definitely going to teach me a lot more about patience. But I am so excited about finally getting to learn. I've been waiting to learn how to smock for years. I have a lot of hours ahead of me before this dress will be completed. I'll keep you posted.

new hobby

last night was my first smocking class. i'm beyond excited about getting to learn how to do this. here is a peek at my practice stitches on my insert.

starting at our next class, we will begin working on our project. i'm going to be smocking and constructing a 6 month little pink bishop dress. i cannot wait to get started. we'll see how everything goes from here.

updates

i'm going back and updating my blog from things over the past few months with the correct dates on when things happened. so there are tons of new posts below with more to follow.
