As you may have seen on the invitation, there will be a social hour and then dancing at her party.
The social hour has been set aside so that Mom will be able to visit with her guests. Hors d'oeuvres along with beer and wine will be served at this time. We picked her menu over a month ago when we were on the way to Atlanta. It's all of her favorites. (My mom is the general manager at the country club in my hometown. That is where this event will be taking place.)
Then comes the dancing. The band that played at my mom and Jack's wedding and that also played at mine and Taylor's wedding will be performing. My mom has had them booked for months and is so excited about being able to dance! They played at one of our ADPi formals in college, which was where I was introduced to them. Motown music, one of my favorites!
