traveling with the band

I've finally decided to post Seattle and The Gorge pictures like I promised over a month ago!! Taylor had a festival show with Switchfoot and I was able to tag along. We did make a trip to the Space Needle. I loved it and so glad that we were able to go all the way to the top!

By the time that we came down, it was way past time for dinner when we are used to it so a little trip to Benihana and we were satisfied and ready to get on the tour bus and get some rest.  My first time experience to sleep on a bus in a bunk was an unforgettable. I was on the bottom bunk so I was able to hear the engine of the bus all night but also the noises when the driver ran a little off the road. I think that I was laying there awake for an hour after that happened to make sure that I was going to be okay. :) I only hit my head on the bunk above me a few times and luckily didn't wake Jon up in the process since he was above me. We arrived at the Gorge early into the morning and I never even realized that we stopped. I slept in while everyone else was either loading in the gear for the concert or enjoying the wonderful weather. The day was perfect and it was more beautiful there than I could have ever imagined. Taylor and I enjoyed watching the sunset over the river.

The show was one of the best that I've ever seen with the band. My husband is so talented and never stops for the whole set. It's so fun to see him "make the concert look the way that everyone else sees it". haha

We loaded the bus after the show and headed back into Seattle to catch the early flight back to Atlanta. It was such a fun quick trip and I love getting to travel with Taylor. Although, the day before we left for Seattle, I finally found a job and started the Monday after we got back. :)
So not as much traveling for me anymore.
